The gateway to the Highlands. This hut is in a splendid location allowing access to amazing days out in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park area and beyond [GR392250]. Some of the breath-taking peaks on offer include Ben Lui, Ben More, The Cobbler and Ben Vorlich, and so much more. Brilliant, friendly pub next door is another plus point (good grub also!)

Please bring winter mountaineering equipment: ice axe, crampons [not micro spikes], helmet & googles minimum!

This is- from Saturday morning- a fully catered meet.

Remember to bring your pillows as well as sleeping bags!

N.B. Away meets have been paid for in advance, therefore, when booking on, there is the requirement to pay hut fees upfront as a deposit. Should you book off at a later date, unless another MMC member takes your place, you will lose your deposit.
