The Wayfarers' Club hut is in Great Langdale. Officially opened on Saturday 16th March 1930, RLH was the first dedicated climbing hut in the Lake District. Converted from an existing 18th century barn, the hut is named in memory of Robertson Lamb, whose sister (who wasn't herself a lamb or, in later years, a sheep) largely financed the purchase and conversion.

This meet unites local clubs, St. Helen's, Wayfarers and the MMC in this impressive hut which has a welcoming open fire indoors and outdoor swimming pool (to cater for contrasts in Lakes weather conditions).

Excellent access for climbs and walks in the South Lakes.

A communal meal will be provided on Saturday evening but please be aware that you need to self- cater for the remainder of this meet (sleeping bags & a pillow case necessary).
